Ford 4610 tire size

Our Ford 4610 currently has truck tires on the front. I see that tractor data says it should have 7.50 16 on the front. I was wondering if anyone was running 6.50 16s on the front of there 4610 tractor and how they look. Just trying to decide if I should spend the extra money and get the 7.50 16s. Thanks

got a 4000 with 6.50s.. they work but look small and tend to warp sideways when turning hard... So.. yes, but not carry higher loads, and turn as well. If your not weighted, or have a loader, or blade, then loads are not a problem.

Thanks for the advice. I think i am going to spend the extra money and get the 7.50 16s

I saw them on a tractor when I was shopping for my 3910. Look large, but not out of place. Don't recall the rears in the picture. 600-16 3 rib 6 ply with 13.6x28 (13" rim) came on my 3910 and they fit just right in clearance and front to rear height with said rears.

Get on the www and google the model for sale. May have been in Tractor Shed. Pics are out there.

We run 6.50's on the front of a 4000 for a short time, didn't like them, they looked small and rolled over ploughing in hard turns.
I ran a set of 7.5L-15's for several years, being shorter they lowered the front of the tractor some and being wider they performed the same as the 7.50-16's.

I have shorter spindles on the 4000 now and have switched back to 7.50's, my 4000SU has 7.5L-15's, that's what it came with.
