e-mail from the forum

If I email a person from the forum....does it leave the website and then all communication is outside the forum on regular e-mail? The reason I'm asking is someone asked me to email them about a part but so far, no word back. thanks!

Yes, communication is done through regular e-mail once your initial request is forwarded to the person you wish to communicate with.
