We bought this at a tractor show, found it hiding in a box of JD stuff. Any idea what tractor these numbers are from? Just curious. Thanks.

4**** = 172 gas or diesel engine; *1*** = ag and industrial models produced 1963 and later; **20* = four wheel all purpose with adjustable front axle; *1**1 = four speed transmission with transmission PTO.

That is showing 2 different tractors.
The first one that looks to be in pencil is a 1964 4000 ag tractor with a 4 speed trans
The second one in blue is a 1962 2000 diesel ag tractor with a SOS trans
