Needing to replace the front bushings on my 641, did a quick measurement and found that the lower bushing has a 1.5" (37.27mm) ID. All the parts sites I've checked show a part #nca3110 which has a 1.37" ID. I looked at the new Holland web site and they show a larger bushing but their # does not cross to anything I've been able to find (312662). Would anybody happen to have a number for that larger bushing? I've also checked Messicks and they show the larger bearing but not the bushing??? Thanks Dan

After doing some more research I've found that the early 4000 uses the larger bushings too. This site sells them saying they replace part # nca3110B. $30 for a whole kit of lowers, uppers, seal and thrust bearings. I think I'll go this route. The tractor will live out the rest of it's life (OR MINE) on some recreation land and get very little use so as long as the bushings are close I'll be fine.

Two-Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. Whether for product liability or because the aftermarket parts and labor business is lucrative, this concept is disturbingly prevalent. Fortunately when you step into your shop and make that jump 50 years back in time to work with your old tractor, this concept goes out the window. Even so, when it comes to the charging system, people quickly revert to this idea and start replacing the major components one at a time until it works. The reason you don't find any decals in your replacement set wit
