Question about series I / series II 6610 cab

Just wondering if the roof on the series II cab will fit on my series I cab? Everything appears to be the same from a quick glance. I have a 1986 with the rounded roof. Found a wicked deal on a series II roof and I would swap it out if it is a direct bolt on. Thanks

Couldn't find anything to confirm weather they will interchange or not but you'll probably need to change the inner panel also.
My series II cab has the 2 air filters, one mounted on each side of the cab, looks like earlier cabs used a single filter mounted somewhere toward the back.
Series II cab is held closed by three bolts, one in the front center and one on each side near the middle of the roof.

They both use the same windshield indicating the cab shape could be the same, but you may need all of the brackets, hinges and attaching hardware that goes with the series II cab along with the inner panel for proper filtration.

Thanks for the info. You are correct about the air filter, mine has the vent under the back side of the cab. it sounds like it has the same bolt locations though. I will have to look into it some more I know a guy with a series II 5610 he's just up the road. Maybe I will stop and have a good look at it
