Re: Length Of Bolts For Roloff 3 Pc Weights in reply to KCTractors, 11-16-2017 18:39:02
I have those weights on my tractor but can't tell you the length of the bolts. I would think you could do a bit of arithmetic and figure out the length. Thickness of weights + wheel center + width of loop + nut + washer = bolt length. I always use a grade 8 washer against the wedges because have seel several wedges cracked or broken in half. When you put them on get them good and snug then take the tractir out fora half hour ride. Then tighten them again. After working it for a week or two tighten them again. Also, there is about a 1/4" gap between the rim and weight that gets filled with mud and dirt. That mud, dirt holds moisture. I've seen a couple sets of rims that were rotted out and ruined so I blow that gap clean with a pressure washer a couple of times a year.

Do you have the wedges? Del Huebner just sold a set of rolloff on the other site. Go there and in the ad section email him. I'm sure he will know the lenght.

One of us would sit on the left fender (away from the clutch) and other would sit on the gas tank and hold onto the crankcase breather pipe.
