641 hydraulics

My 641 3 point hitch seems to go too far up when you raise it and doesn't go close enough to the ground when you lower it.It doesn't matter if the draft control is not being used.Any ideas ?

Kind of hard to tell without seeing it but I think in the all the way down position the arms should be straight out the back or parallel with the lift cover. Are yours similar to that? The lift's piston will limit the height.

Try extending the lift arms. I have adjustable ones on both sides and can get mine real close to the ground.
