Ford 860 - No Spark

I don't have any spark on my 860. I replaced the points and condenser but still no spark. I tried a coli off of a different tractor but still no luck. What should I do next?

Figure out why!

Seriously, start chasing electricity. Find out where the power stops. Is there 6 volts to the negative side of the coil? (I'm assuming your electrical system is OEM.) Trace the entire ignition wiring system from the battery negative to the coil if you don't find it 6V @the coil. If you find it there trace the system from the coil to the points.

New parts can also be bad. Don't assume they're good just because they're new.

BTDT many times. Turn the engine over till you have the points open. Then try a hot wire from the ignition side of the battery to the ignition side of the coil. When you touch the wire to the coil you should not get a spark. If you get a spark then you have something in the points area ground or the insulator going in the side of the distributor where the wire goes to the points is grounded. If no spark with them open turn the engine till they are closed and do the same test. If you do not get spark then the points are not conducting power. You also might try staring ti hot wired and if it runs that way the problem is form the coil back to the battery so poor connections or a bad switch
