problems

I have a 5600 ford with the 233 engine had to use either to start and then only idle. changed out fuel thank and petcock injectors and did a reseal on injector pump now it still needs either to crank and will only idle need help please.

Did you replace the filter? If you did, did you also make sure to remove the old gasket, so the new one didn't double-up with the
old one?

Have you verified fuel to each injector ? You could probably idle with only one cylinder pumping .

Did you clean out the screen on the inlet on the pump head when you did the reseal?

new screen in kit and fuel to at least 3 injectors didn't check the first one

sounds as though you may have linkage broke some where if it only idles. using either could be low compression as diesels needs all the compression it can get to start.

will a pump for a 256 ci fit on a 233 engine hard to find injector pump for 233
