It's not a 3600 and I'm not sure exactly what it is. Might be a 3400 with later model grill shell.
3600 didn't come out till 75 and select o speed trans was not available on the 3600. It had been discontinued.
Muffler is to the rear like on a 3000, 3600 muffler was farther forward.
The front hub looks to be for a industrial front axle, the left side air filter access only came on a 315,515,532 industrial in 75-76, filter access on 3600 ag tractors was on the right side, rear wheels appear to be 24" ind wheels instead of 28" ag wheels although some euro ag models had 24" rear wheels.
Left side running board is missing making me think someone has been adjusting the bands trying to fix a problem so it probably has transmission issues.

I'd hate to have more than $1200 in it if the engine runs.

I would also call it a 3400.
24" rears with cast centers like they were talking about a couple of days ago.
Piston pump, big hubs on the front axle - good eye on that btw.
Looks like a 5/8" rod on the steering cylinder.
The 3400 and 4410 diesels did have that small paper air filter in the left side of the nose.
Your estimate on the price is about right too.

Didn't think it was a 3600, more oike sheet metal switched out or something, but still interesting for the price.

Didn't know 3400 had left side filter, my 4500 has it behind the grill. Learned something new on an old tractor.

3400 for sure, but I'd still be concerned about why the left side running board is missing.
