My 1962 Ford 2000 Industrial (4 cyl) needed new tires on the rear duals. Upon removing the tires from the hat rims I found rust through in the attached recess covers and severe pitting in the rims. I cleaned up and saved the centers and ordered new hoop rims.
What are the ?" carriage bolts & nuts securing the centers to the rims supposed to be torqued at?
I know, "As tight as you can, but stop just before you break them", but I would like the ft lbs if available.
Additionally, what are the torque settings for the flange nuts (for the inner duals) and lug nuts for the outer duals?
I can not seem to find the settings in the owner's, or service manuals.
Any help would be appreciated!
