Hoping you guys can help point me in the right direction. I'm trying to get the old 901 started for the first time in a month or so. I hit the starter button, and it started up but needed a little choke and I wasn't fast enough and it died. 2nd try the battery didn't have enough "juice" to crank it over enough to start.
After letting it sit overnight with a trickle charger, the battery still doesn't have enough it over. It only gets a revolution or two and then the battery give up. The battery does have 12.8v across the terminals. I can take it out and have it load tested. It is a fairly new battery, for what its worth.
Any other items that might cause slow cranking? Could something be wrong with the starter?
