This is the rear bolt on the seat for a 3000 and others . I did not know what the plunger was for until I searched it here and found it is a stop pin for the yoke .

C5NN669C is $41 from my New Holland dealer , and I think 81837083 is just the pin ??? for $25 . Either way I would not want to buy a new one if I did not have too . I can probably reuse mine just fine but might make one from a bolt and keep the coarse threads on the top half , cut the pin on the bottom 1.870 inches by .300 diameter .

3.630 over all , 7/16 fine on top , 7/16 coarse on bottom .

Pic for reference . I had the lines lined up until the pin rolled , LOL

A question about that pin!
Is there a position to have the hydraulic controls in to prevent a problem if the pin backs out? I need to change the seat on my 5610, and suspect that the pin will back out instead of the nut backing off.
TIA, Dave

Just remove any implement from the 3 point arms and then loosen the yoke a few turns before removing the pin and you should be able to line things back up fairly easily when you go to reassemble.

Interesting! The front seat bolt is a cap screw, while the back is a stud with nut! I was wondering why I couldn't find the pin in the parts catalog! Shows the cover with the flat where the seat sets, but no indication of bolts or studs or holes for either! I guess one is supposed to install the seat with super glue?!?!

Are you looking at the exploded diagram at the new holland parts web site . Under hydraulics it show the front bolt ( #10 ) and rear pin ( #11 ). http://partstore.agriculture.newholland.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::mr67519ar322610
