Ford 641 Tractor

I put in a new gas valve on tank, rebuilt carburator, and sediment bowl. Starts up and then shuts off. Can't get it to stay running. Any suggestions?

Make sure you have a good steady flow of gas out of the carb drain plug. That flow should fill a pint jar in 3 minutes or less. If it does not you may have stirring up some rust/dirt and need to check things.
Next check your spark it needs to be a good blue/white that jumps a 1/4 inch gap or more at all 4 plug wires

I had the same problem. You continue to have trash clogging the strainer in the tank. A thorough cleaning of
the tank is required to get all the sediment out. When I purchased my tractor, it had sat for a while, fresh gas loosened everything. It would run about 5 or 10 minutes and quit. It would slowly fill the carb and do the same
