OT: Good Feeling

Bush hogged about ten acres of pasture yesterday with the 841. In the words of POTUS you didn't build that. But I did bring a 54 year old machine back from the dead and that is a good feeling. I wonder how many of today's machines will still be working daily like my 9N, 8N and 841 50/60 years from now. It was a good day..

Can't wait till quittin time today. Going to use my 8N to push up a bunch of cedar to burn to increase my pasture. Then i'll use my MF35 to move some round bales. Both of 'em I brought back from the dead. If it rains i'll get in the garage and continue to bring my '59 841 project tractor back to life. Can't wait for that to happen-POWER STEERING!!!! YES!!! Although that MF35 has given me forearms like Pop-eye, i'm tired of wrestling with 'er! Yer right! It's a good feeling!

Bob, what part of the Volunteer state do you call home? I am in Fayette County on the west end of the state.

I am in Christiana which is between Murfreesboro and Shelbyville about an hour or so south of Nashville. How are things in Fayette County? Is Hwy 70 built up all the way from Bartlett to Bolivar? Spent alot of time in West Tennessee and caught lots of crappie from Pickwick! That's what I should be doing now! Is the Lewis Barbeque joint in Moscow still open? There was a lake near Middleton that I caught my biggest bass ever. Boy those were the days.
