So planning my paint for my '68 3400 I don't like the industrial pastel yellow so I plan on painting it like a 3000-blue with the stripe. Are the wheels typically white or would my "light ford gray" cut it?

Here's a 3400 that I parted out several years ago.

That said, Ford used several combinations of Blue and Gray on the 3000s over the years.
Some had blue fenders, some gray. Some had blue wheel centers, some gray.
Some had a painted white stripe on the hood, some just had a striped white decal.
The gray is not like the darker 8N gray but almost white. The wheels were usually painted gray.

Here's another one I parted out. I think a 1970.

This is a 2000. My first 3 cyl. Built 5/68.
