as I discussed before, the governor on my 841 doesn't seem to do anything. If I yank on the arm, it doesn;t fight back at all.
I took off the tin, the gas tank, the radiator, the water pump, and the timing cover. All the parts were present and accounted for, and the fork was secure to the governor arm.
What I did notice, tho, is that there was nothing that i could identify forcing the governor to spin along with the crankshaft. Referring to the FO-20 manual, p 61, figure FO122, part 13 ("Sleeve and driver") spins freely on the crankshaft.
Anything else I should do while I am in there?
thanks in advance!
