I have a Fordson Super Major that I ordered a seal repair kit for the hydraulic pump and am not for sure if I received the correct kit. I suppose the tractor I have could be a New Fordson Super Major and I am not for sure but the kit is for a Super Major. Question is should the o rings that came in the kit be the formed type to fit in all of the curves? Should they be round or flat? The seals that came with the kit are nothing but a large o ring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fit the "O" ring into the groove in the ends of the pump, they do tend to meander about. Be careful you do not displace one as you fit the pump back together. We use a little grease to hold them in position.
