The front end loader on my 8n tractor lifts up
slowly with nothing in the bucket. I recently
mounted 2 Clamp-on Forks on the bucket for light
lifting around my house. My question is: Is the
hydraulic pump mounted on the front pto need to be
rebuilt or replaced or is the hydraulic system for
the front end loader low on fluid???

Slow is sort of normal since most have pumps of around 8gpm. But if the fluid is say a heavy weight oil like 80W-90 then yep slow. Or maybe the pump is going bad if that is so it will not lift much of any thing. Other things that might cause it is the suction hose getting bad and sucking closed
