I thought for the sake of discussion I'd show these, they do look different and I assume thats why he wants so much for them.

Hello Billy , As Jerry stated the ones on Ebay look like the ones from a Light Duty Industrial like Jerry has pictured , BUT they are on the same Idea . I think I have a couple sets of them but depends on how far away you are from me if it is worth the trip for you . Thanks Tony

Without measurements, can't say for sure if they're HD. But, if they are, and if the bearings and races are good, they're probably worth $200. I remember spending more than that to put new bearings and races on mine a few years ago.

Good luck.

Ray

Its time you measure the top and bottom diameter of your spindles where the bushings fit.

He wants so much for them because he's Not-So Cheap Tractor Parts. Look at his other items and the outrageous prices he has on his auctions.

Not to defend that seller as I know they do get scalper prices on most of their stuff.
I got a hard to find L side hood for my 3000 from them once for $45+ and was elated to get it at all much less at that price.
Looking on Messicks those spindles are NLA. Last price was about $450 each.
Those don't look to be in too bad a shape.
If a guy needed a set...

I'm not Tony but...
My guess is that they are for a light industrial model.
The spindles were much shorter than on an ag axle.

Thats what I thought they went to, that particular axle. From earlier conversation I was just wondering, what the HD version looked like for the typical front axle on an 800. Given the scarcity, the cost and the fact that she sits idle in the field near the house and there are acres to mow, not good. I'll likely order from here, given the parts and kits spindles, bushings, thrust bearings and wheel bearings. Limited $ being on a fixed budget, I'd like to do the center pin in it too, its worn, I have a spare bracket I could rebuild to mount on, but am wondering what I am dealing with on the center piece of the axle if its worn beyond spec or oval, not sure what people have been doing with those.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Electronic Ignition - by Staff. Oil, for example has come a long way in the last 50 years and I don't use anything but the latest API grade available. I've heard the arguments for non-detergent oils but would never trade it for today's formulations. Paint is another, the modern acrylic enamels are great for resistance to grease and fuel stains, retaining their shine and they last forever; unlike enamels and lacquers . Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos ... [Read Article]
