3400 loader issue

My tractor os a 1972 3400 w original loader. Could use a little advice on 2 loader issues, 1) loader won't hold down pressure like it used to. I can push down with the loader and it's strong enough to raise the front of the tractor but as soon as I release the hyd lever back to neutral position the pressure bleeds off in about 1 second. 2 ) the other day while plowing snow I tried to raise the loader and it seems as though the RH lift cylinder is pushing fine but that LH side is not helping... Can sense this because the loader cocks slightly. I can raise all the way up and then on the way back down! At about 1-2 ft before ground it seems like the LH cylinder is actually fighting against the RH cylinder... Very odd. I nearly have to go to full pressure for the RH cylinder to overcome the LH. Read a few posts regarding some issue w plugged filter on these units but not sure if that could create either of these issues. Not sure where to start to diagnose... Open to suggestions. thanks in advance for any advice.

The first thing you should do is rebuild the left cylinder as it sounds like it is leaking by internally.
