Photo is of the pump drive on a 730 loader.
There is a part that goes on the front pully of the engine that drives this shaft.
Where does a guy go to buy that part.
For a 3600 tractor.

Any time I have ever needed a part like that I would go to a good tractor dealer. Years gone by the local guy could get any thing I needed but he died a few years back so his place closed up but the next best place can still get what I need. Call around to a few and I bet you will find what you need

This site does too.

may not be the one you need, I didn't look that close at the exact part number

Ha!
It pays to go scrounging in your enormous pile of junk in the garage.
Something told me I had one - somewhere. Don't even recall where I got it.
But I went looking and found it.
Cool!
Thanks for the replys.

Yep had many a person tell me I should scrap a bunch of junk I have and I say heck no you never know when you will need this or that to repair some thing else. An example of that is a week or so ago a friend bought me a angle grinder one of them cheap ones. Well I had a broken one in my shop so I took the 2 and built one good working grinder out of them pays the save junk so you can fix junk from junk LOL

You can also source it from this site... I now appreciate more the work you do...

The link did not work as i linked

I just bought all those parts right here from this Website. Used them on my IH 3414 loader-backhoe. Ford 720 and 730 pump drive parts are the most common and cheapest.

Thanks -
They sell those parts here for the Ns and Hundreds but I did not see them for the Thousands.
The drive hub for the Hundreds is about 2 3/4" bolt circle and the Thousands use one that is 3 7/8"
Tisco sells the 3 7/8" type for about $75.
I'm just glad I had one in the junk pile.
This type for Hundreds

They have them all on this Website. Easiest way to find them is to punch in the original Ford numbers and they come right up. I just bought a bunch of couplers and shafts for Ford 720 and 730 loaders. Used the parts to make two drive systems for my IH 3414 wheel-tractor and my Deere 1010 crawler.

For my IH, I torch-cut a round steel plate as an adapter so the Ford coupler would bolt to the crank pulley. All the parts in these photos came from YT Tractor last week.

I used this Ford loader shaft from YT. 7/8" X 13 splines on both ends. I shortened it to fit my IH. Easy to do. Just cut the middle out and splice with a piece of DOM tubing and weld.

This 7/8" x 13 splined coupler (on left) came from Surplus Supply since they are $8 apiece right now. YT also has them for a bit more.

I didn't look hard enough I guess.
Your work looks good JD.
In the bottom photo on the left you have a coupler of sorts. Do the splines go all the way through the bore on that?
We do have all the parts to put this pump on my friend's tractor but now he's having major qualms about cutting a 5" hole in the front tin.
Do you know if anything off the shelf would accomplish the same job without cutting such a big hole?
What would happen if he used a coupler like I see in your photo?

Coupler on left is splined all the way through. I've used them on my Ford, Deere Case, and IH loader-tractors. 7/8" X 13 is the standard often used on bigger Cessna and Webster pumps (15 GPM and bigger).

Less then $9 each at Surplus Sales. They also have the smaller couplers in 5/8" or 3/4"

I don't know about what fits in what you're doing. Usually you bolt a coupler-adapter directly to the crank-pulley. It will have a splined hole in the center. Then run the 7/8" shaft all the way to the pump where the splined-coupler joins the shaft to the pump. Only takes a 1" hole in the sheet-metal.
