Where I live is Ford tractor country. I have been around and worked on Fords all my life. I love them. You really have a nice fleet. It makes me sick to think that Ford quit making them and that the crap New Holland sells now is replacing the Fords.

I am SOOOOO envious! Started out with 8N and JD "A" in Nebraska in the late 40's and 50's and now just a part time farmer with my son with two Fords.

I"ve got a 1968 3400 that someone painted yellow. I"m doing some maintenance on it and considering painting it. Should I paint it yellow or blue??

I think the right answer is "both." That shade of yellow on the PS pump and the hydraulic pump looks pretty close to the correct yellow, looks new too. Where'd you get that color?

Planning to paint mine when it warms up. Found some previous threads that provide PPG paint codes for the old industrial yellow but haven't pursued it yet.
