Taking the front wheels off for new tires I noticed play in the front axel. There is a video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSp1f7Vfm_U

About 1/2" deflection on the bumper, I'm guessing this is excessive? I'm wondering how big a job it would be to fix and what it might cost? I haven't noticed it to be a problem in use.
Thanks .. Matt

The tractor likely had a loader on it at one time.
Yeah it shows some wear but isn't really hurting anything. Parts are available from New Holland. Not sure if they are available aftermarket. Not a real big job to fix. Nose, radiator and rad. mount have to come off. The center pin is screwed in to the bolster and can be a serious bear to get out.
Just did one recently. Had to use heat and a 3/4" drive impact gun to get it out.
I always use gobs of anti seize when I reassemble parts like that. Mine was good but I wanted to sandblast and paint the parts.
I wouldn't worry a whole lot about yours.

Thanks Ultradog, your opinion that it isn't really hurting anything will allow me to make it a good job this winter. I'll keep some penetrating oil on it until then.

sixbales, great link, Thanks. I archived it for reference when I get into the job. The photos will be a big help.
