3000 Clutch Disk Differences

Hi,
I am looking into gathering up the parts for a clutch job on my Ford 3000 diesel with dual clutch with an 8 speed. It was built in November of 1974. There are several different styles of clutch disks used through out the years? Are they all interchangeable? They all appear to be 11" in diameter and have a 1", 10 spline hub. Will any work? Specifically, will a E5NN7550BA work?

Thank you

I recently did the clutch in my 3000. I just went ahead broke mine apart and ordered the parts that matched what I already had. I wanted to get my parts beforehand but with so many options on clutches and pressure plates I just waited on ordering my parts. From what I have seen and read, the hub splines can't always be right by the year or SN of the tractor. I figure exchanging parts from online seller would be a bear to return if the parts are wrong.

The only safe advice here... split it open and see what you have, then carefully go through the parts book online and match what you have by disc diameter and spline count. There are many different ones so select CAREFULLY.
Should you find the original number then you can start shopping around using that.
My own suggestion... if you want a quality reman clutch, just go to Hy-Capacity. Do keep in mind that they are sometimes as much money as NewHolland.
There are sometimes other suppliers out there that carry the original OEM Borg & Beck clutches but it's a bit of hit and miss to find them.
NewHolland stuff today is generally LUK clutches.
