Bear with me here I'm green when it comes to hydraulics here. From what I've been told my pump cracking might be due to a relief valve failure. I got a book on it and I see each of the cylinders has a circuit relief valve and then there is a system relief valve before all of them on the control valve. Is the system relief valve a backup if the others fail or am I way off here? Also could I put a pressure relief valve inline between the pump and control valve until I figure out which one is bad? What psi should I get?
