Had to stay in holding pattern for most of afternoon Wednesday until gentleman got there to pick up the ROPS am sending up to FordFarmer. Futzed around farm until he got there about 4p.m. Wasn't sure if was going to need FEL to load in truck or not so couldn't get started really so just keep looking for places that may have lost prime or leaked. Tried going through book (FO-31) for ideas along with reading forum on cell phone. After taking off 5 foot bush hog from 3pt. hard way, needed a back rest any way. Finally after Corey and I got the Rops loaded up and he let his Black Lab run around to stretch a bit, got myself started.

Remembered something someone had said on a thread about the seat bolts and one being longer and where to put it back. So snapped a few pics of bolt positions as I went to help da last few brain cells have left. The exploded views in manuals don't exactly make it obvious if seat bolt holds anything underneath in position so after seat gone, put long on back in partially.
Another thing haven't seen explained to well is the interior bolts versus the outer ring of bolts on the lift cover. Am taking educated guess as to the outer bolts hold cover on and inners hold interior parts.
Took the Auxiliary control off next. Payed special attention to the O-rings and placement of when slowly lifted off. Got pics too to make sure put new ones where belonged. Dealer was nice enough to give me print out of the two possibilities of number of rings involved depending on type. I think they having pity on me because I deal with customers at Wally all day and know what it is like sometimes.
Once Aux was off, noticed slight pooling between two of the front holes of hydro fluid.
On a whim, moved float control up and down, just seeing if anything in the holes moved and how thingy's worked. To my surprise the fluid in hole closest to bolt (on left hand set of holes in this pic) went down. hmm. I'll get this figured out yet!
Unfortunately was getting dark at this point and decided to get the outer bolts loosened and backed off slightly but not take them out just yet. Also put the Aux control back on to keep dust and dirt out until could have a full day to get into her.
One particular question have is where is best place to unhook lift arms. Leave Y's on and remove from knuckle? Or can I save some weight and remove the yokes where they attach to lift cover?
Any other suggestions or ideas are welcome. Next full day off is Tuesday, so will probably wait until then to get her off and finished up. If anybody knows of any good pics of different steps (Got Hobo's bookmarked and his special tool, thx ROD) would also be appreciated.
