Looking to replace the timing advance diaphragm on the distributor and can't locate one. Any one have a suggestion on what I can do?

As far as I know they are NLA anywhere. So you are pretty much reduced to buying a complete used distributer. I know where there are a couple of distributers for sale. One is almost new - has only a couple hundred hours on it. Be prepared for some serious sticker shock.

I replaced the diaphram on my Ford 2000 about 3 or 4 years ago. I found one in Wisconsin at a parts dealer. I'm on my way to church right now, but when I get back I'll look through my old records and try to find a name and number for you.

I finally landed long enough to look up that dealer that sold me a vacuum diaphram assy. for my 1973, Ford 2000.
I accessed All-States Ag Parts at
asapagparts dot com Apparently they have some connection with a bunch of individual stores in different places. They directed me to Wisconsin Tractor in Black Creek, WI. They had the part and sent it to me in a timely fashion.
That all transpired in September 2006. I would recommend that you contact All-States Ag Parts and see if they can help you.
