4000 weights value?

Just went to pick up a bumper.
The guy had some weights he took off his 71 4000
He asked me what they were worth.
Figured you guys could help.

2-round weights that bolt to the 4000's rear wheel centers

set of front wheel weights, 2-pieces per side

8?- suitcase weights (smaller than the ones I'm used to seeing) with
Ford script embossed in them

any ideas?

ps the 71 4000 was also for sale. nice straight tin (all there) with just
some surface rust. everything worked...$4500...too rich for me but,
dang, I wanted it. Told him I'd trade a handful of red and gray tractors
for it.....but he laughed and said no. :)
 
I picked up some ford suit case weights at an auction a couple years ago for $20 and there where 8 or 10 of them. I did screw up and sold them to some one else for what I had in them and have kicked my self ever since. They should be worth at least $20 each if not more but me being a nice guy and the person saying he bought the tractor they went to I let them have them for what I had in them. Oh the real reason I sold them was I was to lazy to load them LOL
 
Those front weights should be the 60-pounders. Around here, $.50-.60/lb, so $30-35 each. Wheel weights tend ot bring a bit less, maybe $.35-.50/lb, although certain sizes seem to bring a premium.

I don't know if there were any pillow weights on that pallet.
Maybe. I just took a quick look. The owner said when he bought
the 4000, it had weights everywhere.....he took them all off and said
it does his work fine with just the filled tires.
After I got home, I remembered I had my new-fangled phone and
could have took some pics. duh
Nice guy and reasonable. Called about the bumper as soon as he
put it on CL, and went early today and got it. Nice condition-and pretty cheap
painted it up and put it on an 8N. (yes, those are the tires that used to be on my Jube.)
