powermaster identification

David
Add some pictures to this post and someone will advise what you have.
More information would help too. (any numbers found on castings)

If it is truly a Powermaster it is either a late 1957 800/900 series or a 1958-1962 801/901 series.

I hope these come through. I can get more specefic if anyone wishes.

You have a "58-"62 841D. Since you have a C0NN engine block I"m assuming it"s a 1960, 61 or 62 . If you look at the front left corner of the engine block, just above the oil pan rail you will find a code for the day the block was cast. It will be a combination of 3 letters and or numbers. A simislar date code can be found on the transmission housing, the hydraulic lift cover and the rear end center section. Find these codes, post them and I"ll tell you which day of the year these parts were cast.

There looks to be a "DIF" and then the numbers
1L11 right under the seat. On the engine block there is "DIF" and the numbers 1L16.

DIF means Dearborn Industrial Foundry.

1L11 is 1961 November 11
1L16 is 1961 November 16

You apparently have a 1962 841D. Since your parts were cast in November of 1961 the tractor was most likely assembled in early 1962.
