Hi all,
On my 4500 (late 60s) there is an access cover on the center housing, low and on the left side (as you sit in the seat). According the the CNH website it is part...
#C5NN4N023B PLATE Plate, Center Housing Side, w/Independent PTO, No Longer Serviced., Start Year: 01/01/1965
Q) can the lower hyd screen (filter) be accessed through this area?
My manuals and new holland website only show this from the right hand side.
I am having this screen clog up over and over and over. I have changed the fluid 3 times in the last 8 months. flushed the system twice. Back blown the intake twice as well. When I rebuilt the lift cover, I also cleaned as much as I could and drained and flushed it... Last night it plugged up so bad that it took 90 minutes to raise the gannon (blade). The pump pressure at a fast idle is 1800 psi (warm).
Q) can the brake discs be deteriorating? and be clogging this up? I have never had the diff apart and don't know what the wet brakes consist of.
Q) I don't use the PTO, at all. but understand that there are clutches in there, perhaps these are breaking up????
your thoughts are appreciated....sl
