This tractor has a steel sub frame that goes back to the rear x. Can i pull the motor out the top or do i have to remove this entire loader and split the tractor. It looks like the frame will support the tractor without the motor but don't know if there will be room to come forward to get flywheel out of housing. I assume i will need to remove the heavy cast grill and radiator.

I just pulled the motor in my 4500 and in order to remove the motor you must first support thr loader and sub frame, remove the front end from the front of the motor foward and then pull the motor from the trans. You need alot of jacks, jackstands, engine hoist and I made some homemade legs to support the front end and motor once seperated. Good luck and be carefull.
