I am curious about Ford 800's and own an 851 myself. Do others' out there have pictures of their 600 and 800 series tractors that can be posted? I'm also interested in your repair and work experiences with the 800 series tractors. I'm trying to learn about these now that I am an owner of one. In addition, does anyone have a used backhoe attachment? thanks. tom

I have redone an 860 and a 601 workmaster diesel. I am now working on a 640 gas that was converted to a forklift. It needs the complete top rear end housing with the 3 point hitch arms,is this available and how much?

I need a backhoe...used...but dependable. what is the selling price? also looking for a good condition NAA for no more than 3600-3700.00 only if it has been rebuilt. in my area that is still somewhat high but competitive. Massachussets area?..prices may be higher than around here and may not be able to make a deal if that's the case. How can a backhoe implement be shipped...what type of carrier?

I have an 850 which I bought last summer. I have changed the fluids, upgraded the pto shaft to 1-3/8" diameter, rewired the whole tractor, installed headlights and a worklight, new battery and cables, new key switch. Still needs some tweaking on the 3 point, steering parts (tie rods, etc), and possibly a head gasket. Used it last week to cut last summers weeds with a sickle bar mower, raked them into windrows with my Ford rake and baled them with a MF 124 baler. Didn't overheat or miss a beat. Does have low compression in cylinders 2 & 3. I'm hoping it's just a head gasket but I don't have time to chase it right now and for now it still works fine. Email me if you want any more details about any of the work I've done. Good Luck.
