I have smoked two belts on my power steering. It's cold right now and there may be moisture in the system. Pump turns ok, but am I not getting the belt tight enough? Should I be tightening the pivot bolt as well as the tension rod? It's been awhile since I've taken this apart and having trouble remembering. Thanks for any help.

I just bent another power steering cylinder shaft on the left side of the tractor. Finally got all the moisture out of the system and turned the wheel both ways to start pushing all the air back to the resevoir and presto bent shaft. I really need help on this one. Why does this cylinder want to over-extend? Any ideas?
