Yes, there are 4 expansion plugs; 3 into the water jacket, one of these is in the back of the head with 2 in the rear of the block. The fourth is a large plug covering the rear of the camshaft. Yes, you will have to split your tractor & remove the flywheel & spacer plate to access the plugs. You will need a new cork seal around the crankshaft rear main seal (which you may as well replace, too). Sorry, can't help with your swing motor.

The swing motor is probably the same as the Massey Ferguson. Might check with a MF dealer and see if they can help you. Yours is the first I have heard of a Ford having a swing motor.

Thanks for the response fellows. It's what I thought but didn't want to accept. The hoe is not used very often. I might try some stop leak. The Ford dealer didn't know about swing motor either. He said if I would bring hoe model #, he might be able to help. I found that and will check it out. The hydraulic swing motor works real smooth because there is no slack like with chains or bushings and pins. Nathan
