Comparing TO-30 To JD 790

I have the chance to buy a JD 790. 30hp diesel, 4wd, loader. All reviews seem to agree that it has a lot of power for a compact. I will be keeping the Fergy and restoring it. Anyone have thoughts on the JD? Will it have the guts of the Fergy? Most of the reviews show owners using the same attachments I already have for the Fergy. I just have the need for the loader and I know they are difficult at best on the Fergy.

Keep with the same family and look at compact Masseys!
Your JD could be built in India at least the MF has a bit of
Japanese engineering. If you are happy enough with an Indian built
tractor, we find the TAFE to be quite good and you will have no
bother fitting your implements as they are based on the old MF35
diesel.
Just my thoughts...

Just do not use bio-diesel fuel in it, only straight petroleum based fuel. Bio-diesel fuels create a multitude of problems from plugged injectors to seized injector pumps and internal engine corrosion. A local owner here bought a new Kubota and within a year had to replace the engine and injector pump, and Kubota would not warranty because he used bio-diesel.
