Follow up to collapsed fuel tank

Thanks everybody for your help on my collapsed fuel tank. I'm going to try to pop it back out, but first I need to figure out what to do about the leak first. I guess the pressure caused this to fail. It never leaked until the tank collapsed. It's the part where the sediment bowl assembly screws into the tank. Was this part brazed on? I hate the thought of taking a torch to the tank, even if it is empty....that might pop it back out lol Would JB Weld or some other kind of epoxy work on this? Thanks again

Stay away from the tank with any sort of naked flame! or say
goodbye to your eyebrows.... Ordinary glass fibre resin will seal a
petrol tank, mine was like a seive back in 1986 and I coated the
complete bottom of the tank, still good today.
Also be careful blowing the tank back out again,You could end up
in orbit!!!! Also don't anyone ever take a vacuum cleaner to suck out
the brown dust that seems to gather in tanks. My mate thought that
was a good idea, next thing the tank and the vacuum cleaner went
out through the workshop door...and...it was closed at the time!!
PLAY SAFE....Sam

Braze it back. I rinse the tank out a few times and then run a hose into them from a running vehicle so there isn't combustible fumes.

Being in the rust belt, we've brazed quite a few tanks

Either take it to a shop or find another tank. It is so shunk up from your earlier pics, it must barely hold 2 gallons. There are a few things I never do. Touching gastanks with torches is one job I leave to others... in this case, I would hunt for another tank.

Well, got the tank popped back out, I was surprised that it didn't take very much air pressure to do the job. When it went it really popped! Only took a few seconds. I think I'll take the tank to a radiator shop or welding shop and see if they will tackle fixing the leak. Just don't feel brave enough to try it.
