5th Annual Butler County Antique Engine and Tractor Show in Morgantown, KY.

This year we are hosting the North American Ferguson Enthusiast East Central Show. Over 100 tractors of various makes and models, over 50 hit and miss engines, and several lawn tractors will be present. We will also have a power parade, tractor games, kiddy pedal pull, grist mill demonstrations, food and other vendors, viewers choice awards in different categories, bluegrass music, and our 1st annual farm equipment consignment auction. A bouncy castle will be provided to entertain kids for free. We will also be selling raffle tickets for a Ferguson pedal tractor ($400 value) and a gun to be given away at the closing ceremonies. Exhibitors (2) eat lunch free Saturday and free admission to all. Vendors must pre-register. Exhibit pre-registration is appreciated. For more information go to our website at www.butlercokyoldiron.com or contact Tim Southerland at 270-841-8119 for further details.

It is hard to fit everything in you want to on a flyer. I agree, the city got overlapped on the revised flyer. I will fix that. The date is shown down the left hand side. The flyer is mainly to get people to our website and there they can get all the details along with a map and directions. Hope to see you there.

OK, duh... I see the date. Sorry about that. I didn't mean to pick on this flyer per se, rather it seems many of the show ads don't tell out of towners part of the basics. They will tell you local directions, but often not the big picture, as if everyone knows how to get close. Check the show ads in magazines and you may notice that.

You know, so many of these types of ads do not show basic info for people who don't live near the show or haven't been there before. e.g., unless I just missed it, the city is missing from the flyer. That makes Mapquest difficult. And more importantly, the date is missing. Of course, it's all available from the website listed and from FENA, but it should be on the cover flyer to make it easy on casual readers.
