Removed the oil pan and ...

I removed the pan just so I can get the filter out. There was a metal bowl that housed the metal mash screen. Do I need that metal bowl for the new filter? The oil pan is badly damaged, where can I get a used one for cheaper price?

The assemble includes the metal bowl (open face down) then the mesh screen (open face down) then the filter. and finally the cover plate.

Oil Pan assemblies are available new or as used parts. I have a good one on my parts tractor if needed. Again- e-mail me (TE20Ferguson at aol dot com)

So glad I found your response. I just inherited a ,48 Ferguson. I have not taken the pan off or ordered parts and won't until I know where to buy the parts and how much and what kind of oil to use. Please lead me to volume, kind and reaource for parts.
