Pivoting on what Pivot Pin to use on my TO30. Man I'm bushed

There are two pivot pins and two bushings available for the TO30 on this site, but the dimensions don't mean anything to me. Nothing seems to ring true with what I'm reading in the Dealer Shop Manual. Are the words "swept back axel" what I'm supposed to key off of? I guess that's what I have because the axel is........ swept back.
My other Fergie details are....... according to "Jim in Ohio"'s serial number chart, it's an early 52 model with a serial number in the 74,000 range.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

the parts book is showing only one pivot pin assembly for the TO 30 and that is part number 180 499 M91 the dimensions are 4-3/4" long, with a 7/8" bolt hole. Swept back axle, yes.

Thanks for the reply, Richard. Unfortunately, neither the part numbers nor the dimensions of the pins on this site match the part book numbers you gave.

The two pins to pick from this site are:
1 3/4 Dia. 4 1/4 Length (Part No: 825002M1)
and
1 3/4 OD 4 3/4 Long for swept back axle 5/8 bolt hole and 1" dia. crank hole (Part No: 183221M1)

What do you think? Go with the last one?

They also list two bushings:
2.075" OD, 1.750" ID, 0.820" Long for swept back axle (Part No: 182850M1)
and
1 15/16 OD, 1 25/32 ID, 1 1/2 Long (Part No: 180344M1)

The first bushing sounds right ?

Also, how many bushings do I need? I saw a post somewhere that mentioned two.

Again, thanks for the help !!!!!

Bushing 180 344 M1 is what the parts book is calling for and yes you need 2. The length is 4-3/4" what you need to do now is find out what size your bolt is because that is where the other size comes into play. The parts book is only showing one part number for the 30 and that uses a 7/8" bolt. Richard

as long as you are probably going to order from this site give them a call and see if they can give you any more help. Your handle says Brunswick where is that?

Thanks Richard. That's a good idea. Maybe their 5/8" is a typo and should be 7/8". I'll also pull the bolt on my TO and see what size it is.

Thanks for confirming the 2 bushings as well.

And my Brunswick is in Ohio.

Merry Christmas and thanks for all the help.

Bill
