Replacement Seats

Has anyone used and/or installed this seat?
Seat, Universal - Black leatherette upholstery. Narrow seat for compact tractors. Internal suspension, weight adjustable. 5 position adjustable base. Special slotted base for mounting. Seat is 15" wide, 17" long, 19" high to the back of the seat. (Part No: TS1015)
I purchased it on this site. Installed in last night very simple install. Just curious if anyone else has used it to see how it works in real life? The original pan seat killed my lower back after a number of hours in the seat..I'm hoping that the back on this seat will cure this problem. It seems to be a little narrow, but sits a little taller than original. I'm 6'4" so the extra height will not be a problem.

Do not have one but I have certainly seen enough tractors with them.

Sounds like a good solution for you.

I'm not sure if its the same one that is available at the farm stores around here, but I've heard some complaints about not being able to turn the dual springs down soft enough for a good ride and some of the complaints were from big (heavy) guys.

I should have also mentioned that those old Knoedler seats that were an original option for Fergys and Fords work really well. I rebuilt one and put it on my TO-20 and the improvement over the old spring seat was unbelievable. They're still a lot of them around.

I have used a seat of this kind on my 2N for years. I"m 5-10, 270# and it is very comfortable for me. No way would I want to go back to the old pan seat.

I had a chance to use the tractor yesterday. Plowed snow for about three hours...very comfortable. No lower back issues. Super.
