Ferguson acessories "Tractor Jack"

I own a TO 35 Deluxe, and reading through the Operators manual I saw reference to the "Tractor Jack" , the written description is of how the jack is used and with the pictures being of poor quality I was wondering if any one here in the forums has acess to pics or a link that are of better quality?

I'm interested in trying to fabricate a jack if I can get pics or plans with diemensions. Would be willing to purchase if need be.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

daggerdog,

unless you want that item for historical purpose i would not trust it.

1. most old TO-35 hyd systems will go down if the motor is not left running.

2. When i pick the rear tire up, its to take the wheel off for tire repair. My tractor has spinout wheels so i do not have to take wheels off to widen wheels.

3. I always use a hyd jack and jack stands under tractor when i am lifting it or have to work under the tractor.

Just my two cents!!

stay safe!!!

I have the plan. If you'll send me an e-mail, I'll forward it.

I also have an original jack for sale if you want one.

I have pictures of the Tractor Jack if you need them, just email me and I will send them.
Regarding the hydraulics dropping, that depends on the condition of the tractor of course but you would never rely on any hydraulics when you are working on a tractor without a wheel or wheels. What you need to do is use a heavy piece if timber with an "L" shaped piece cut out of one end. You lower the Jack slightly so the bar between the lower link arms of the tractor will rest on the bottom of the "L" and the other end on the ground, it will never drop then and you can work in complete safety. We used these when we painted tractors and they were up like that for nearly a week....John
