Buying gaskets from this site?

I am putting a list together of stuff I need to buy.
I am not sure if they are not offered, or I am not looking correctly.

I have seen these for sale as aftermarket on other sites

Sediment bowl gasket
Hydro inspection port cover gaskets
Carb gaskets (not a rebuild kit)

Now that I am looking I am not seeing the gasket anywhere. The Spartex site shows the inspection cover gasket as 181217M3 but not listed for the TO-35

Dude,

The Fuel bowl gasket is available at Tractor supply and like stores. As are the others.

I have not seen carb gaskets out side of a rebuild kit.

Also, check to see who is you local Agco (MF) dealer. They can get all this stuff too. And are often competative with any on-line dealer particularly if you factor in shipping costs.

I like supporting the local guy as it keeps money in my community, If I need something quick I have a place to go. and You can bring your broken part in and visuslly compare before buying.

Also try the equipment superstore (Georgetown, Ohio) They are a MF dealer and can get it and ship anywhere. visit site or call 877-FarmParts

I see the number in my parts manual, so they must all be the same.

You cam make those inspection port gaskets with a small ball pien hammer and some thin paper gasket material you can buy at an auto supply store(like NAPA). Some folks use an old cereal box. These gaskets are not critical not are they high pressure. They just deal with imperfections between the plate and the transmission housing.
To make these kinds of gaskets you merely cut the paper til it is slightly larger than the access plate, tap the edge with the hammer obliquely so that you strike the paper against the edge. Do this all the way around the edge and, if you do it right, it will cut paper. For the holes, take the ball part of the hammer and strike where the holes are located. Again, the paper will tear and the holes will be formed. This works for realtively thin gaskets like the ones on the access ports. My Dad showed me how to do this 60 years ago.
