Ferguson cabin.

Ferguson NEVER made tractor cabs, but there were a lot of suppliers who did and some still do to this day...John

Here's one in Victoria:

The Australian club site listed a TEA20 cab for sale a year or two ago, work required for (from memory) $5,000 or there about.

I've seen photos of two or three different cabs for TEA20 tractors, some metal, some part canvass. I vaguely recall seeing a Council Fergy with cabin in Tasmania in the 1950s, towing two or three gang cylinder mowers.

Jerry.

No option - that is the law in Australia for any tractor in commercial use or if a tractor is sold.

I suspect most tractors in Australia have ROPS, the only exception being a few private owned hobby farmers.

Thanks. But that looks hideous! $5000 worth of hideousness  . Kind of crossed between a Ferguson and a Volkswagon Beetle.

(Sorry for the late reply. I've been away for a week or so.)

Yes, I must admit I didn't think of the VW but could see some resemblance to the 2CV Citroen!

The only other photo I've seen is the Fergys taken to the South Pole by Sir Edmund nnalert. Not much improvement on the photo above but the sidescreen skirts attached to the bonnet "dog legs" no doubt to duct hot air into the cabin. It would be a major task to come up with a cabin design for a Ferguson that was sealed.
