1952 Ferguson TO-30: Hi/Lo Transfer Case

I am restoring a 1952 Ferguson TO-30 and on the Hi/Lo transfer case, the bottom yoke keeps slipping off the control arm when we try to shift from hi to lo. Any suggestions on how to get the yokes and gears all back together inside the transfer case?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi/Lo transfer case.
Yoke slipping off the arm, to me, at about 1.30 in the morning, sounds like your missing a pin.
Pictures might help.
Now is this transfer case in front of the transmission?, behind the transmission? or back at the PTO?
Handle on the right side, left side or top?
Then again at 1.30 AM the answer might be eluding me

I think you should be calling a transmision instead of a
transfer case. That is what the factory called it and calling
it a transfer case could confuse people. I have both a 41 9N
and a 44 2N with just the overdrive gear in them as the ones
with the under drive gear were not yet avaible. Mine was put
in the 2N as soon as were avaible. Transfer means taking
power from one place to anouther, not changeing speed to what
it is hooked to.

Look up YouTube channel Bundy Bears as he show rebuilding a few fergies and may have what you need to see, or a model close enough you can work through.
