Just got a 1955 Ferguson TO35 to rework for our club (Maine Antique Tractor Club) Good shape for sitting in the woods for 15+ years. Got everything running, so on to the easier stuff. Both rear rims are eat up from calcium, and one wheel center is toast also. Question: When looking for a good used wheel, do the TO 20, 30 and 35 use the same ones?
Another issue is the shifter will not move to the 3rd 4th position. I won't go over far enough to engage the slide rail? Tried moving the slide rail with a pry bar through the fill hole, but no luck. Any ideas? Parts and repair manuals are on order. Anxious to see how it looks when it gets the new metallic green paint! This is my first Ferguson, so thanks for any input!
