I'm servicing a Ferguson 35 with Perkins diesel and I need to know how much oil it takes when I change the oil and filter. The dipstick is messed up so I can't just put to the full mark. Thx

My I&T manual says 7 quarts, add one additional quart with filter change. So 8 quarts with filter change

Are you going to mark the dipstick at the correct full level (after running it a few minutes) for his future reference?
