looking for te-20 fork retracting spring

Hi!

I'm trying to help a friend fixing his te-20. Sadly, when fixing the hydraulic pump, the fork retracting spring on a lift cover snapped.

Replacement spring was installed, but it is a little bit looser. I think this cause the fork not to move the control valve on a hydraulic pump correctly.

Just slightly bumping the fork with finger via the inspection cover causes the lift to work and the control valve to move just a bit more.

So, if anyone has the fork retracting spring for sale, I would be most interested, or tips adjusting the fork movement.

As per Parts Catalogue .....Parts # 181 050 M1 is the same part # for the TO-30..TO-20...TE-20..TEA-20...9N/2N

It's the same as the FORD 9N-539, Hydraulic Fork Retraction Spring, NLA but go to CENTURY SPRINGS and get a 5/8 diameter x 4-7/8 LONG expanion spring and that'll
work...

Thanks Tim!

I was finally able to find the original spring. It's still to be installed. Your info is very good to know.
