"Ford Guy" First Question; Can anyone ID this

Well guys, finally had my new Fergie TO30 delivered this week, and will have a few questions before I start to work on it. Here is my first one. Have never seen this kind of seat before. It is older, having some corrosion and several coats of paint. Have looked through internets, Fergie archives, etc. and can find no info or other photos of it. I presume this was an aftermarket accessory, but as it needs to be rebuilt with a new shock absorber, it would help if I knew the make of it. Thanks to all, Larry.

I have the exact seat on my TO20, mine seems to function correctly, although I cant seem to figure out how to adjust the firmness, assuming you can do so.

The only adjustment is to lift the seat up until the shock/spring assembly falls out of the notches and then reposition the assembly into a different notch in the
topmost arm. Rear notch= soft, front notch= not as soft.

The only possible benefit I can see from these seats is that it puts you so close to the steering wheel you can steer with your knees, freeing up your hands to
swat mosquitos!
