3 point anatomy

Hi all still new here and learning.
Thanks all for helping ID the new to me tractor.

I'm now curious about the 3point. All seems to be working fine and moving snow around the place is pretty fun to say the least. Anyway, Im wondering what an "extra" metal bar is for that is located on the right side. It connects under the outside of the axle and looks like it should attach to the lower arm of the 3pt. Currently its attached via a zip tie (probably not ideal) ..
Just wondering if its necessary and what its called.

I'm not sure .. but I'm thinking its some sort of stabilizer bar for the back blade ?? Not sure if that makes sense or not..

Depending on the stabilizer bar, they hook under the axle and may hook a couple different places on the lower lift links (draft arms). Some hook-on implement pin with the lower lift link, some hook to the lower lift link itself a few inches closer to the tractor than where the implement pins. Definitely not a zip tie connection on either end.

Agreed with the previous answers but if you have the flat bar stabilizer they are to be used only as a pair. If you have just one it will bend.

Huge thanks all.

Alright so I need to get the other side (left lower mount) fixed up then and grab a couple newer -straight- stabilizer bars.

I'm sure the blade will be much more useful once I get this corrected. Better get this done before its time to move dirt around here.

I've been wondering about this same issue recently. I have the flat stabilizer on the right side but there is no axle bracket on the left side to attach a second one. I've not been able to locate one of these brackets. Any help out there?
